Nunan Estate was built in 1892 by local businessman, Jeremiah Nunan as a Christmas present for his wife, Delia. It has been bought and sold through subsequent years, but the magnificence of the estate has been beautifully maintained. In the front parlor, sunlight streams through a large stained-glass picture window causing purple, red, gold and green light to cascade onto luxurious carpets and illuminate five different types of highly polished and ornately carved wood furniture. The vintage charm of Victorian-style furnishings has been faithfully preserved.
